Human questions come first on this platform, not VISTAR theory. So before naming the five dimensions formally, start with the question each one answers.
Existence — "Is it real, and in what sense?"
Existence asks what it means for something to be, before asking what it does or means.
Relation — "How does it stand toward everything else?"
Nothing is investigated in isolation. Relation is the dimension that keeps context in view.
Conditions — "What has to be true for this to hold?"
Conditions names the circumstances — prior states, constraints, environment — that shape what is actual or possible.
Process — "How does it change or unfold?"
Process is the dimension of becoming: sequence, causation, transformation over time.
Possibility — "What else could be true?"
Possibility opens the space beyond the actual — what could hold, given the conditions.
Together, the five dimensions form the backend rigor of the VISTAR Master Concept while this article stays at the front-end, human-readable layer — by design.
